As most of you know, Poppy is from Eakly, Oklahoma. The home of Mike Moore, the big league pitcher. Cherrydale is between Eakly and Binger on Highway 152.

 Cherrydale consists of what you see here.

Many times we have driven by this place and I have never stopped until this time.

I wonder how many people have peered, just

like me, thru these windows.

Imagine the Oklahoma wind blowing the windmill, and getting a cold drink of water straight from the earth.

Have you ever watched gas fill up the glass tank while you hand pumped gas for your car?

 Then before you took off down the road, sipped your RC Cola from the glass bottle, the entire time sitting under the big ole tree in the front?

Take Me Out To The Ballgame...

Good day everyone! I am vowing to try and keep up my blogging. The weather here in Harrah is beautiful. I should be on a road trip, instead I am working in the office looking out the window at the hummingbirds at the feeder. 

Poppy took the seniors to the baseball game this morning. Hope they have a good time. Then he is off to take them to eat at Don's Alley later this afternoon. He is a very busy chauffeur these days. God love him, all the older ladies like him. 

I have been thinking of changing the name of my blod to Omah's As the World Turns. What do You think?
